About the Project

+ Kickstarted a User-Centered Design process focusing on usability and iterative design
+ Evaluated current analytics and on-site observations to make informed decisions and related information architecture recommendations
+ Research for best practices, trends, insights and other material on global airports digital experiences (e.g articles, surveys, International Travel Awards)
+ Comparative assessment of global awarded airport web/mobile experiences and best cross-industry UX practices
+ Initial outline of user tasks and drafting of main user personas
+ Mapping initial user journey by tracing on-site the steps of a business traveler persona and reflecting on current pain points
+ Develop UX Vision, Design Strategy, Approach, UX Concepts and metaphors
+ Design UX plan, in collaboration with UX Researcher, including in-situ research and user interviews in order to further investigate initial conclusions
+ Explored requirements, interactions and key functionality through sketching and designing tablet prototypes with Axure RP
+ Explored, through sketching, primary and secondary UI navigation patterns for Lux Airport mobile applications based on UI design guidelines of Android, iOs and Windows mobile OS's
+ Explored additional mobile interaction paradigms (Ubuntu mobile OS) and prototyped draft interactions for tablet mobile application with Axure RP
+ Exploring the use of knowledge models in order to create user profiles and matching them with related solutions like tailor-made concierge services
+ Collaborated with a consortium of European IT and digital companies on preparing the re-designing case of the Luxembourg Airport digital experience for web/mobile tender 2016 submission. Final solution and offer shortlisted at the top 3 of all the European submissions.
+ Collaborated with the international project team, prepared a UX design slide-deck and presented it, as member of the team, to the executive board of Luxembourg Airport, CEO and independent consultant
